Three easy grazing platter ideas

grazing platters
Grazing platters are a beautifully versatile, modern dining option that offers so much possibility - savoury, sweet, healthy or decadent - incorporating all your favourite foods. Try our 3 quick ideas to inspire your next grazing board.

Sumptuous seafood grazer

On a bed of gourmet lettuce from the Loose Leaf Lettuce Company, arrange your favourite seafood, including lightly pan-seared Far West Scallops; Marinated Octopus from Fremantle Octopus; Leeuwin Coast Albany Rock Oysters; Sea Harvest Exmouth prawns and an array of fresh WA seafood from Catalano’s Seafoods. Place pots of Great Southern Truffles truffle aioli and Bluey Zarzov’s hot sauce between the seafood, and scatter with lemon wedges. Serve with a crusty Loafer’s Artisan or Eco Bread loaf.

Cheese to please

Pair a range of soft and hard cheeses from Bookara Goat Dairy;  Borrello Cheese; Cambray Cheese; Dellendale Creamery; Harvey Cheese; Halls Family Dairy; La Delizia Latticini and Margaret River Dairy with honey from Karibee Honey, wedges of guava paste and small bunches of fresh grapes from Fruitico or Bumbak and Sons and other in season fruit including figs and sweet persimmons. Pair with an array of gourmet crackers from your favourite Buy West Eat Best retailer, and WA wine from Rockcliffe winery.

Vegan grazing latter

Follow the concept of Kate Flower Food’s vegan summer grazing platter with WA Potatoes, taking the opportunity to incorporate fresh in-season produce such as gourmet mushrooms from The Mushroom Guys. Use contrasting colours, textures, shapes and flavours to make this platter appeal to the eyes as well as the tastebuds!
