Located in Mariginiup, in the outer northern suburbs of Perth, Blazing Saddles grow a variety of chillies year round using hothouse technology.
Their range, available in loose packing and punnets, includes the chunky jalapeƱo, the colourful Rio teardrop and the mild Mexican poblano, as well as the more common long red and green chillies.
Owner Lance Fitzgerald says the most popular selling chill is the red cayenne. “Although if you really want to challenge tolerance, keep an eye out for the Caroline Reaper chillies.”
They supply to Coles supermarkets and select independent retailers, so look for them next time you want to spice up your life.
Blazing Saddles also grows and supplies zucchini and squash.
