The family behind Elixir Honey believe that honey is the elixir of life – in its natural form, honey embodies the sun, air, soil and water through flowers and plants that the bees forage.
When Elixir Honey was founded in 2003, most of the honey available was pasteurised, homogenised, microfiltered and blended. This industrial method of production affects the colours, flavours and health benefits.
Elixir Honey is produced without damaging the expression of nature. It is 100 percent natural and is harvested through single harvest, cold extraction and cold-pressed methods.
To deliver the purest honey, the focus is on the health of the bees and the land on which the honey is sourced and harvested. Chemicals are never used.
Elixir Honey invests in a regular testing regime through its Proof of Pure commitment. The regime includes independent laboratory tests for glyphosate, antibiotics, pesticides, additives (C4 Sugars) and HMF (“rawness” test). The results of every batch tested is published on the website.
The range includes 130g, 380g and 1kg Elixir Raw Honey and Elixir Raw Jarrah Honey TA35+.
